Though I did not take this picture, it is the exact vantage point that I saw them play from last night. The house photographer stood right in front of me to snap it. I had seen VW play before, but it was a couple of years ago at ACL festival, and seeing a band play at a festival is drastically different than seeing them play in a television studio 5 feet in front of you (please note my use of an Oxford Comma).
My favorite moment was when Ezra forgot the words to "Campus" and the other guys stood around waiting to start again because he couldn't stop laughing.
You'll undoubtedly be able to spot me when the episode airs in September, but I can't remember if I did anything embarrassing, other than look blissfully happy, so...to be continued.
Also, here's their new single "Diane Young" which they played twice last night (once during their set and then in the encore they asked if they could play it again because they thought they could "play it better". It sounded awesome to me both times).
